This is Food and Hampers; we specialize in providing delectable foods and unique hampers as a service to our customers for their personal treats or special occasions. Our food service offers delectable meals that are carefully prepared and packaged to treat everyone’s palate to wholesome goodness and belly satisfaction. Our hampers service offers convenience to our customers and a wow to the recipients. We like to take the stress off our customers, by carefully selecting unique items, beautifully package them together and deliver the hamper to a special person. We have varieties of hampers such as Mini Hampers, Breakfast Hampers, Birthday Hampers, Love hampers, Corporate Hampers and Bespoke Hampers.
SCRIPTED: From your name, do you deal in prepared meals or just raw food stuffs in your hampers?
FOOD AND HAMPERS: For our foods, we deal in carefully prepared meals with a great quality and packaging, so most featured items are immediately edible. For our hampers, we have a mix of both types of contents; contents you can immediately consume and contents that can be stored for later consumption. It depends on the type of hamper you are ordering.
SCRIPTED: Hardly heard anyone do what you just initiated, what inspired you to be the first Nigerian online food and hamper delivery outfit? Any story behind it?
FOOD AND HAMPERS: We started out this year with the drive to take consumed food to a whole new level in Nigeria not just in content but the total experience. We ask ourselves “What is a better way to appreciate someone with food?” So we did our first market test during Valentine where we offered a 3 Course Meal in a Box and the response we got from our customers and viewers were fantastic. This showed us that “Good food has no enemy” in Nigeria.
SCRIPTED: What's the level of acceptance since you started? And what are your challenges?
FOOD AND HAMPERS: So far the level of acceptance has been encouraging and the challenges so far are common to every small business in Nigeria - Limited Access to Capital, Unstable Power, Unsteady Standards / Quality of Local Goods and Ineffective Transport System.
SCRIPTED: Apart from this online platform, do you offer off-line services and how long does it take you to respond to orders and any contact details?
