VIVA! VIVA! MANDELA!

I feel pride in my heart for him,

A selfless fight for his people,

Your long walk to Freedom,

His story is sure an indelible history,

Youthful age imprisoned but not his heart,

Beaten,battered and chained,

Yet his spirit never got broken,

Intimidated for the redemption truth he spoke,

The apartheid warrior never gave in,

What a man of eternity,

His name on every lips of the black race,

His deeds in every heart of the human race,

I hear the world talking about his bravery,

And I realize longevity also has its place,

Both proved him a never forgotten hero,

Revolutionary soldier that fought for

liberation out of bondage,

Wish he could fight freedom from death,

For immortal is the legacy he has lived,

I see the heavens rejoicing,

As angels in white welcome my Black President,

Heaven!not the grave is the abode of Madiba,

The siege is over,

Brutality could not overpower,

The world you did inspire,

Freedom finally conquers,

Inspiration of liberty for Africa,

Your pains you made strength,

Your struggles you made determination,

Every oppression you made noble,

You are of whom you return to,

South-africa mourns in joy,

For the saviour of apartheid lives forever,

The world could not hold back its emotion,

As we shout with two hands in the air,

Viva! Viva! Mandela!
